The Baltimore Actors' Theatre Celebrates its 52nd Anniversary
1959 - 2011
and the 46th Anniversary Production of "Babes in Toyland"
1965 - 2011

BABES IN TOYLAND, the Victor Herbert Operetta, is Maryland's longest-running Holiday Musical Spectacular. It was first produced in 1965 at the Hippodrome Theatre. Since that date, BABES IN TOYLAND has been produced every year in many venues, including The Lyric, Painters Mill Music Fair, and Kraushaar Auditorium. It is now the annual fundraiser for THE CONSERVATORY, Baltimore Actors' Theatre, a College Preparatory School of the arts, Grades Pre-One through Twelve. BABES IN TOYLAND is highlighted by a cast of 100, a 20-piece orchestra, and features a Toyland Parade, Dragon Ballet, Parade of the Wooden Soldiers, and a beautiful Toyland Wedding.
