THE CONSERVATORY, Maryland's first and only accredited College Preparatory School of Academics and Performing Arts, Grades Pre-One through Twelve, was founded by Helen Grigal in 1979.
It is a unique institution that combines a rigorous academic curriculum with a professional performing arts program. THE CONSERVATORY prepares students for professional musical and non-musical performance careers. It is also structured for those who have a strong arts avocation but plan to follow other areas of study in college. Admission consideration is given to students with potential as well as those with developed talents. Small classes allow for personalized training with a teacher-student ration of 1:5.
